The NAVAIR Headquarters at Patuxent River, MD intends to procure: 8500C Balancer/Analyzer kits, spares, ancillary parts, contractor support and services, software, and software upgrades in support of the H-46 helicopter. This requirement will be firm-fixed-price and cost reimbursement orders against a basic ordering agreement (BOA). The Government intends award on a SOLE SOURCE BASIS with Chadwick-Helmuth Company, Inc., El Monte, California. Chadwick-Helmuth is the designer, developer, and sole manufacturer of the 8500C Balancer/Analyzer system and the only known company with the knowledge, experience, and technical data required to fulfill this need.
