This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation No. 60181-9-Q291 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and will be awarded as a purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 37-Agriculture Equipment. Small Business Size is less than 500 employees. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-10. The solicitation items are as follows: ITEM NO. 1 -- DEGELMAN ROCK RAKE Model RR1500 (or equivalent)14 ft. working width; hydraulic angle ability from 10 to 30 degrees; PTO operated; transport width of a max. of 10 ft.; hard surfaced and replaceable teeth; and frame construction ofa min. of 6-in.x6-inc. Metal. ITEM NO. 2 -- DEGELMAN SIGNATURE MODEL 7200 ROCK PICKER (or equivalent)66-inch reel; 3 cu. yd. capacity; compression steel reels; solid shaft grill tines w/replaceable grill tips; grated hopper bottom w/spring steel straps; flotation tires 16.5Lx16.1 to reduce soil compaction; dydraulic drive; and hard surfaced paddle teeth. ITEM NO. 3 -- JOHN DEERE 750 series NO-TILL DRILL (or equivalent) Two individual 15-ft wide drills attached with a 2-unit hydraulic hitch to form a 30-ft wide planting width. Units must be foldable for transport to a total width not to exceed 16-ft using a hydraulic hitch system. Unit will be used to seed grass and small grains. (Adjustable, hydraulic, down pressure reaching at least 450 lbs on each individual disk opener; depth gauge wheel adjustable to at least .5-inch minimum seed depth to provide accurate seeding depth for grass seed; disc opener to be followed by pneumatic press wheels to adequately compact soil over the seed; row spacing between disc openers shall be 7.7-inches; grain box shall be grain and not for fertilizer; acremeter; and separate grass seed box with tubes sending grass seed to the disc openers .)
