NASA/GSFC plans to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the purchase of a cryopump system with the following specifications: A) 20" flanged cryopump system w/closed cycle G-M refrigerator cooled. B) Must be equivalent to CVI, Inc., model TM-500 cryopump and model CBST 6.0 air cooled compressor. C) With 10' gas lines; 10' power cable, installation tool kit, system o-ring, and manual included. D) Must pump N2 at greater than 10,000 liters/sec. E) N2 capacity greater than 2,000 standard liters at 5x10 -6 torr. F) 20" ansi flange. G) Cool down time of 180 min. H) Power 208V, 3 phase. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR PART 12. The SIC Code and Size Standard are 3679 and 500 employees, respectively. The DPAS Rating for this procurment is DO-C9. The anticipated release date of RFQ 571-24386-0000/920 is on or about 04/27/99 with an anticipated quote due date of on or about 05/12/99.
