Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to DELETE IN TOTAL THE STATEMENT OF WORK AND REPLACE WITH THE FOLLOWING SPECIFICATIONS: Requirement is for 3 ea. Microwave Power Modules that meet the following specifications: 1. The operating frequency range shall include 8 and 12 GHz and the output power shall be at least 100 watts at these frequencies. 2. The input power shall be a DC voltage less than 500 volts. 3. All components shall be in one package with a mass of less than or equal to 1.8 KG. 4. The module shall include control circuitry for safe turn-on and operation of the device. 5. The power module shall have a CW output power over the 6-18 GHz band. 6. The duty cycle shall be up to 100 %. 7. The solid state amplifier shall be of MMIC technology. 8. Environmental and all other electrical characteristics shall be at the discretion of the manufacturer. The due date for receipt of offers is extended to 4:30 local time on 4-16-99. Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on 4-6-99.
