The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Laboratory Instruments and Standards Branch (LISB) has a requirement for electronic subassembly modules to support the depot repair of Fluke Corporation Multifunction Calibrators (MFC), model 5700AAN, and Power Amplifiers (PA), model 5725A. The replacement modules must be fully compatible with the existing Fluke equipment. Fluke owns several patents on both the components and processes within the MFC's and the PA's. Furthermore, market research confirmed that no other company will repair or refurbish Fluke modules nor supply the required modules. Based on this information, the Government intends to award this requirement to Fluke Corporation, under their Module Exchange Program. This acquisition is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 12, as a sole source, firm-fixed priced, requirements type solicitation. The contract period will consist of one base year and four option years. Delivery of items shall occur in accordance with each delivery order, to the LISB, Naval Air Warfare Center-Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, MD.
