The Department of Veterans' Affairs, John D. Dingell Medical Center is seeking request for quotes to provide a medical vacuum system. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item, prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Squire-Cogswell triplex base mounted total recirculation rotary vane vacuum pump package, model 200-463-20-12T-132 (or equal) consisting of the following: (3) Squire-Cogswell model #SC-20TR oil recirculated rotary vane vacuum pumps, complete with oil reservoir with level gauge, air to oil heat exchanger, oil flow control valves, coalescing oil exhause filters and spin-on filter, (3) 10 HP, 1200 rpm, 208-230-460V, 60 cycle, 3 phase, ODP motor, (3) couplings and coupling guards, (3) inlet check valves, (3) inlet filter screens, (3) pump isolation valves, (1) 4 1/2" vacuum gauge, (3) high air temperature switches (thermal malfunction protection devices), (1) common stacked base to supportpumps, motors and receiver, (3) operation and maintenance manuals, (1) triplex 460V electrical control, (1) 240 gallon vertical ASME receiver with manual drain valve and valved by-pass. Each pump will have the capacity of 63 scfm at 19" Hg when operating at 1200 rpm. Installation of this unit will be required and price submitted with quote.
