This modification upgrades the current actuator (19710) P/N P86-P13B to a new model designated as (19710) P/N 2B6205A. This initiative is pursuant to NAVICP's Logistics Engineering Change Proposal (LECP) program. The only known approved source of the current actuator, new actuator, and modification kits is (CAGE 19710) MPC Products Corp, Skokie IL 60077. There are no drawings available. The subject item requires Government source approval prior to contract award, as the item is flight critical and/or the technical data available has not been determined adequate to support acquisition via full and open competition. Only the source(s) previously approved by the government for this item have been solicited. The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source.
