The Social Security Administration (SSA) is seeking sources to perform preventive and remedial maintenance services, as well as emergency services for six Bell & Howell Mail Star 500 Systems -- one each located at SSA's six program service centers of Birmingham, Alabama; Richmond, California; Kansas City, Missouri; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Chicago, Illinois; and Jamaica, New York; on six Bell & Howell EI 10,000 Automated Inserting Mailing Systems one each located at SSA's six program service centers and on thirty Ascom/Hasler Mailing machines -- five each located at the six program service centers. A technician shall be required to respond within a 4-hour timeframe during regular Government hours of 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Emergency services are defined as Monday through Friday 5:01 P.M. to 8:29 A.M. and Saturday, Sunday and federally observed holidays 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Respondents shall provide material regarding technical capabilities to perform. Cross-referencing to material previously submitted is not recommended. No cost or pricing data is required or requested. This is an information gathering effort only and if further procurement action is taken, additional publication will be done as required.
