REPLACEMENT, BAKER COUNTY, OREGON The Natural Resources Conservation
Service (NRCS), is soliciting bids for the installation of
approximately 7.4 miles of PVC pipeline including the removal of
existing steel pipeline. Minor changes to existing pipeline alignment
and additional pipeline appurtenances have been incorporated in the
design to improve hydralulic performance. Delivery of water to the
system is provided through an existing system of canals and diversion
managed by the PVWCD and the local State Watermaster. The irrigation
water will be delivered through the system during the normal irrigation
season which typically runs from April 1 to October 1. Major items of
work include: 39,000 L.F. of PVC pipe varying in diameter from 10" to
24"; 24 forty-foot sections CMP varying in diameter from 18" to 36"; 19
flow meters from 4" to 20" diameter and structure removal. Estimated
price range is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Performance time is 270
calendar days. All responsible bidders may submit an offer which will
