The project consists of rehabilitating an area at the east end of the North Bank, which has an approximate average length of 131 linear feet. The project also consists of constructing approximately 2800 linear feet of new revetment from Station 190+00 to station 217+47 along the North Bank shoreline adjacent to Cut-2 and Cut-3. The amount of armor stone to be placed for the rehabilitation is approximately 1,500 tons plus reusable armor stone, and the amount of armor stone for the new construction is approximately 41,000 tons. The filter stone for both areas will be placed in two lifts; the first lift is 9-inches and will require 8,500 tons of filter stone and the second lift is one foot and will require 10,100 tons of filter stone. There will be approximately 4,000 cubic yards of excavated material with approximately 11,000 cubic yards used as backfill. This project will require the removal and stockpiling of armor stone from the rehabilitation area and removal and disposal of miscellaneous stone and rubble found in the process of site preparation. Fencing will also be included in this project. This work also includes Turbidity Monitoring. Magnitude of construction is $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. Pre-Solicitation Notice was issued 04/07/99.
