McBride, 215-656-6917 The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District intends to award a firm fixed price contract for approximately 10,000 tons of Type "A" RipRap Stone, 20,000 tons of Crusher Run (Del Dot Specs) CR-Type "B" Stone and 200 Tons of RipRap R-4 Stone. The solicitation will be issued on or about 21 April 1999 with a bid opening date of 25 May 1999 at 11:15 a.m. The performance period is to commence on or about 4 June 1999. The Type "A" RipRap Stone shall be delivered at a minimum rate of 350 tons per day, Monday through Friday, 0730 to 1500 hours whereas delivery of the Crusher Run Stone and RipRap R-4 shall be on an "on-call" basis. All stone shall be delivered to the C&D Canal at sites located along the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal, Between Reedy Point, Delaware and Grove Neck, Maryland.
