The specifications as a minimum are: size -- 2mm diameter X 11 mm long, weight -- 60 mg, operating frequency -- 125 kHz, laser encoded microchip encapsulated in glass. These tags will be implanted in catfish for data collection at different points in the production cycle. An RFQ will be issued on or about April 13, 1999.
