The government intends to procure the following software in a sole source acquisition from Micromedex, Inc., 6200 South Syracuse Way, Suite # 300, Englewood, CO, 90111-4740, under the authority provided by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures Threshold. the contract will be awarded by oral quotation and the anticipated award date is 30 APR 99. the proposed contract action is for renewal of the following software programs and licenses: Identidex Major Database, DRUGDEX (R) System, EMERGINDEX (R) System, CareNotes AfterCare Instructions, DRUG-REAX (R) System, Martindale, POISINDEX (R) System, REPRORISK (R) System, USP DI (R) / DrugNotes System, P&T QUIK (R) Reports, and a Windows Network Unlimited User Access License. This contract will be for a period of 3 years. Subscription shall includetechnical support to include all parts, labor, tools, transportation, and upgrades necessary to perform the installation and maintenance of these programs. All responsible sources shall submit information which clearly demonstrates their ability to provide these items. This information must be received by the contracting officer within fifteen (15) days of the publication of this announcement. The Contracting Officer will review all responses and make a final determination at that time.
