Residential Community Corrections Center services in Ohio in the area
of Lima, Ohio in one of the following counties: Allen, Auglaize, Darke,
Hancock, Hardin, Mercer, Miami, Putnam, Shelby, Van Wert or Wyandot.
Concerns having the ability for providing a Residential Community
Corrections Center facility for male offenders sentenced under various
United States Statutes. Services required include subsistence, care,
custody, control, accountability, and treatment to include furnishing
medical and dental treatment. The services shall be performed in
accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work
entitled"Community Corrections Center" dated December, 1992 and amended
January, 1999. A firm-fixed-price-requirements type contract with a two
year base period and three option years is anticipated. The estimated
number of inmate days for the base period of January 1, 2000 through
December 31, 2001 is 1,440. The estimated number of inmate days for the
option year one period of January 1, 2002 through December 31, 2002 is
730. The estimated number of inmate days for the second option year
period of January 1, 2003 through December 31, 2003 is 730. The
estimated number of inmate days for the third option year period of
January 1, 2004 through December 31, 2004 is 1095. The estimated
Request for Proposals(RFP) issue date is June 1, 1999. The estimated
closing date for the Request for Proposals is August 2, 1999. No
operating hotel or motel will be considered as acceptable. All
responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by
