Department of Veterans Affairs, Medical Center, Salt Lake City, UT anticipates a firm fixed price service contract to remove existing outside air dampers and provide two new damper sections after filters. Filter bank will be reworked to filter all air properly. Provide and install new section of dampers in the section above the existing filter location. Provide a bypass duct over the existing steam coils and tie into the existing duct down stream of steam coils. Allow enough space for cold air to mix with the over heated air coming off the steam coils. Allow control of the discharge air temperature. Provide system ready for damper operator connections and control sensors to be installed by VA Medical Center. Also, remove damaged Dunham bush fan section, furnish and install one new fan section and reheat steam coil. Match and include an ABB frequency drive. Issue date on or about 22 April 1999.
