This is a market survey to determine potential sources for providing obstetric services for female veterans residing in the states of Indiana, Southern Michigan, and west central Illinois. The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a network of providers or individual providers that can offer a full range of obstetric services including pre-natal exams/visits, routine lab work, ultrasounds, delivery, and post-partum visits. The objective is to provide these services within reasonable distance to the veteran's place of residence, which may require the awarding of multiple multi-year contracts. Maternity benefits will begin with the confirmation of pregnancy and continue through the post-partum visit. The contractor must have the capability of handling high-risk pregnancies. However, care for newborns is the responsibility of the veteran. The VA intends to issue a competitive solicitation after reviewing the results of this advertisement.
