Demolition to include but is not limited to the following: the removal of exterior brick, roofing, carrier canopy, mail platform, HVAC system and ducting, electrical, plumbing, asphalt paving, interior partitions, and relocation of utilities. Renovation to include, but is not limited to, the following: the addition of a new box lobby, workroom floor, office space, roof, HVAC system, electrical plumbing, landscaping, and concrete paving, in accordance with the plans and specifications. The successful contractor will be responsible for abatement, monitoring and disposal, and must provide proof the appropriate State license. Estimated cost range $2,400,000 -- $2,900,000 and construction time is 315 calendar days. Successful offeror must submit their Subcontracting Plan for Small and Minority Owned, and Woman-Owned Business. The contractor shall subcontractwith minority business firms in an amount aggregating not less than 10% and subcontract with woman-owned business firms in an amount not less than 7% of the total value of its subcontracts. Offeror must include documentation from the offeror's bonding agent indicating the offeror's bond capability, at the time offer is due. Performance bonds in the amount of 100% and Payment bonds in the amount of 50% will be required from the successful offeror within forty-eight (48) hours after notification of award.
