unrestricted, SIC 1761 size standard $7.0 million. Estimated cost of
construction is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Period of
performance is 60 days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
Contractor is required to provide all labor, materials, supervision and
equipment required to repair and/or replace as follows: H.D. Woodson
Senior High School Open Plaza. The project consists of removing a
portion of the plaza roof down to the structural concrete beam and slab
along the expansion joints. By means of a Professional Engineer
(Structural), a determination of the structural integrity of the
concrete beams (at the expansion joints) must be made prior to
proceeding with contract. The finding of facts (calculations, data,
tests, etc.) shall be submitted to and approved by Engineering Division
in the form of a shop drawing. If found to be inadequate, those
concrete members must be repaired. All existing plaza drains must be
free flowing and in good condition. The drains, which if found not to
be in good condition, shall be replaced. The Contracting Officer shall
determine whether all or a portion of the roofing system needs to be
replaced. Hence, all roofing material down to the structural concrete
shall be removed and disposed of; however, concrete pavers shall be
salvaged and reused if in good condition. The existing "upside down"
roofing system shall be replaced with an appropriate similar roofing
system, to be approved by Engineering Division. As an additional
measure to ensure rainfall flows away from the building, regrading a
grassy area and adding a storm drainage inlet with piping to adjacent
storm drainage system is also required. In addition, built-up roofs
(four of them) above the tower stairs shall be removed down to the
structural slab and replaced in-kind to include flashing. Sharpe Health
SE Repair/Replace Roof Over Pool as follows: The project consists of
determining the structural adequacy of the prestressed precast double
T roof members over the pool by means of aProfessional Engineer
(Structural). The finding of facts (calculations, data, tests, etc.)
shall be submitted to and approved by Engineering Division in the form
of a shop drawing. If found to be inadequate, those precast concrete
members along with the roofing material must be repaired and/or
replaced. All affected electrical and mechanical equipment affecting
roof replacement and/or repair shall be salvaged and reused. Existing
heating unit shall be replaced. Areas between the webs of the precast
members must be sealed from the exterior with translucent window
material. Contractor shall remove three large windows currently block
with plywood and ceramic tile and replace with glass block. Manually
operated exhaust fans shall be installed within the area of the glass
block windows. Concrete members that frame the pool building shall be
repaired. All responsibe sources may submit a bid which shall be
cinsidered by the agency. Specification are $20.88; Non-Refundable. WE
