The Government has a requirement to dismantle and remove five (5) medium sized tresspass (unauthorized) structures from the Yukon Training Area, Fort Wainwright, Alaska. Interested parties will be forwarded the Performance Work Statement (PWS) with attachments that identify the Government's requirements, and the performance that would be required of a Contractor with award of a contract. Since the requirement is in the planning stages, the Government's objective is to obtain the following information from prospective commercial contractors who are interesed in the project: (a) comments regarding the elements of the PWS; (b) feedback as to the best method of dismantling or demolishing the five (5) structures identified; (c) an estimated cost for the performance required; and (d) proposed changes to the requirement that would reduce the estimated cost to the Government. In keeping with FAR Provision 52.215-3, dated Oct 1997, the Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice, or to otherwise pay for the information requested.
