19 -- SOURCES SOUGHT FOR AMPHIBIOUS/EXCAVATOR STYLE DREDGE SOL No Solicitation DUE 042399 POC Bridget Gauer Contracting Officer 520 343-8138 The Bureau of Reclamation (BOR), Yuma Area Office, 7301 Calle Agua Salada, Yuma, Arizona 85364, is seeking potential sources who can provide an Amphibious/Excavator style dredge with the following characteristics: 1. Is able to be transported without obtaining special Department of Transportation (DOT) permits; 2. Can be transported complete on one flatbed trailer; 3. Is capable of self loading under its own power without the use of cranes, forklifts, or other lifting devices; 4. Can dig to a depth of 17 feet; 5. Has a maximum draft of 18 inches; 6. Is equipped with an optional digging bucket; 7. Has the ability to dig and dredge simultaneously; 8. Powered by a diesel engine; 9. Self propelled by means of a propeller; 10. Equipped with stabilizers; 11. The hydraulic system operates on safe biodegradable vegetable oil; 12. Can be equipped with rake attachment for stump and brush cleaning; and 13.
