SPAWARSYSCEN Charleston intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for contractor supplied relocatable modular building components, tension membrane covered buildings, and building systems to be completely assembled, installed, and ready to use by various customers of the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command. A Fixed-Price, Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) type contract (with delivery orders) is anticipated. Contract period will be for a base year and four (one-year) option periods, to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 3448, with a size standard of 500 employees. Place of performance/delivery will be at various SPAWAR customer locations. The Government estimate for the subject procurement is $29.78 million. The anticipated award date of the subject contract is scheduled for May 1999.
