This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared
in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented
with additional information included in this notice. The associated
standard industrial classification code (SIC) is 2522. This is a 100%
small business set-aside. This announcement constitutes the only
solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation
packge will not be issued. Solicitation number TIRNO-99-Q-B0A38 is
issued as a request for quotations. All references to "offerors" are
understood to be "Quotations". The solicitation document and
incorpratred provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal
Acquisition Circular 97-06. Award will be made to one offeror who fully
meets requirements for dismantling and reinstalling Knoll systems
workstations. Work shall be performed by installers certified for Knoll
product, so as to retain all existing warranty. Department of Labor
wage rates have been requested and will be made a part ofthis request.
DESCRIPTION: dismantle 93 existing Knoll Equity systems furniture
workstations for relocation by third party(GSA contractor).
Location:155Blue Angel Lane, Beaver, WV 25813. Four phases of
dismantling to consist of 2-28-37-26 workstations. All workstations are
nominal 8'x8' size. Actual relocation of material after dismantling
will be by GSA move contractor. Reinstall dismantled product plus
additional parts into 98 workstations at 110 North Heber Street,
Beckley, WV 25801. Reinstallation in four phases to consist of
2-31-37-28 workstations. All workstations are nominal 8'x8' size.
Remaining parts to be sorted and stored as directed by IRS
representative. Phase 1: dismantle 2 secretarial workstations plus one
set of file components. Reinstall same workstations in conjunction
with separate purchase and installation of 35 new workstations. Phase
2: dismantle 12 surface typical workstations, and 16 file typical
workstations. Reinstall 11 surface typical workstations, and 20 file
typical workstations. Phase 3: dismantle 35 surface typical
workstations and 2 secretarial workstations. Reinstall 36 surface
typical workstations, and 1 secretarial workstation. Phase 4: dismantle
23 file typical workstations, and 3 secretarial workstations. Reinstall
27 file typical workstations and 1 secretarial workstation. All
workstations are keyed alike within the workstation, and no 2
workstations share a lock number. In addition, 3 sets of filing
components are each keyed alkie. Each set of locks shall be kept
separately sorted, and reinstalled to retain the same setup. All
responsible sources who can provide requested services shall submit
written quotations before 4:00pm, April 23, 1999. Pricing for these
services shall be submitted as follows: Phase 1 $____________, Phase 2

Total for the job $ ________________________. No solicitation will be
issued, therefore, such requests for solicitations will be considered
non responsive. Evaluation/award will be made to that offeror whose
quote meets the specifications listed above and is the most
advantageous price to the government. All quotes shall include prices,
FOB point, a POC (name and telephone number), GSA contract number if
applicable, business size and payment terms. Quotes may be faxed in.
Quotes over 10 pages in total will not be accepted by facsimile. All
questions must be submitted in writing and received by facsimile at
202/283-1511 or mail. Please call the contract specialist in block 11
