Shank III, Contracting Officer, 202-622-9392 <DESC>The Department of the Treasury, Departmental Offices, Procurement Services Division is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) for the lease of alpha numeric nationwide pagers, two-way alpha numeric pagers, nationwide pagers, and regular pagers (commercial item). This Request for Information is to procure information packages from your company on the various wireless telecommunication and paging services, to include software capabilities that you can provide to approximately 500 personnel using said services. Coverage for alpha numeric nationwide and nationwide pagers should cover the Continental United States. These pagers should include either a numeric or an alpha message. Local coverage for regular pagers should include the Baltimore, Maryland area to the north; Annapolis, Maryland to the east; west to Front Royal, Virginia, and south to the Fredericksburg, Virginia area and can receive and transmit a numeric page. Each pager shall have a variety of alert signals such as standard beeps,silent vibration, flashing light indicator, at a minimum. Each pager shall have the ability that duplicate messages should not take up memory space. A dedicated dispatch operator shall be set up for the Departmental Offices' Department of the Treasury users only. Vendors replying to this notice should have an office in the National Capitol Region.
