The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Northeast
Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC), Woods Hole, MA has a requirement for
a contractor to establish, operate, and maintain a professionally
supervised library facility that provides a comprehensive collection of
titles in the marine sciences and related fields, including, but not
limited to, marine biology, ecology, technology, and pollution;
biological, chemical, and physical oceanography; fisheries science;
marine economics and policy; environmental monitoring and assessment;
and statistical ecology. The contractor shall be able to accession,
circulate, archive, and maintain the Government-owned collection at
Woods Hole, MA and be able to integrate materials into the joint
collection when necessary. The period of performance shall be October
1, 1999 through September 30, 2000 with four one-year option periods.
