The US Fish & Wildlife Service requires construction services as
follows: provide all labor, materials, equipment and services to remove
and dispose of two 5,000 gallon unregulated underground tank systems
located at Izembeck National Wildlife Refuge compound in Cold Bay,
Alaska. Tank systems include tanks, vent pipes and some underground
piping. Amount of soil will be approximately 150 cubic yards. Soil is
believed to be clean. Because of the size of the tanks and the length
of time they have been in the ground, accomplish elevation,
stockpiling, securing sampling, tank removal and disposal according to
latest ADEC regulations 18AAC 62,75 and 78. The tank removals shall
follow all safety guidelines used for regulated tanks. Davis Bacon
wages will apply, certified payroll will be required. Posted 04/08/99
