THIS SOLICITATION IS A COMPETITIVE 8(A) PROCUREMENT RESTRICTED TO THE DALLAS/FORT WORTH SBA DISTRICT 8(A) PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS. Firm-Fixed Price contract that the work will that the work will involves installing approximately 16,550 LF of PVC sewer main at West Fort Hood (from West Fort Hood to Lift Station, B93040, East of Montague Village) to replace the existing main, and installation of approximately 50 manholes. Existing sewer main will be abandoned-in-place. Existing manholes will have top sections removed and disposed of; holes will be backfilled and compacted with one foot of concrete in the bottom. The plans and specifications will be placed on Compact Disk (CD-ROM) and will be provided free of charge. Plans and specifications will not be provided in a paper hard copy format. Notification of amendments shall be made through either 3.5" diskette, CD ROM, and/or the Internet. The Government intends to issue this solicitation through the use of CD ROM and the Internet. However, the Government reserves the right to use only the Internet as notification of any changes to this solicitation. It is therefore the contractor's responsibility to check the following address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation.
