Provide labor, materials, and equipment and transportation to repair three separate roofing systems (Hangar Building, Administration Building and Flammable Storage Shed), located at USCG Air Station, Barbers Point, Oahu, Hawaii. "Hangar Building" general scope of work shall include removal and disposal of approximately 27,000 square feet of asbestos containing material (ACM) located within the built-up roofing system and tapered insulation (on metal decking). Replacement roofing system shall involve modified bitumen and expanded polystyrene tapered insulation. Work shall include replacement of approx 800 linear feet of metal counter-flashing and cant strip, approx 85 linear feet of metal gutter, removal (no replacement) of approx 315 lear feet of metal wall coping, increase scupper size in concrete parapet wall, relocation of electrical conduit from roof top to parapet wall and removal and reinstallation of two 60-foot diameter HF antennas. "Administration Building" general scope of work shall include pressure washing of approx 15,000 sf of built-up roofing (on concrete decking), overlay of acrylic polyester coating and waterproofing sealant. "Flammable Storage Shed" general scope of work shall include removal and disposal of approx 800 sf of ACM located within the built-up roofing system (on concrete decking), installation of modified bitumen roofing system and replacement flashing, crickets and metal drip edges. Work shall also include replacement of approx 450 sf of corrugated metal roofing. All work shall be completed within 120 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. This solicitation is issued under and resulting contract to be awarded under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program (PL 100-656). The construction range is between $250,000 to $500,000. Only faxed or written requests for bid packages are acceptable. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered.
