This Invitation for Bid will be prepared in accordance with FAR part 12 for commercial items. Period of performance is 1 Sep 99 through 31 Aug 2000, for a base year, and four, one-year options. Contractor shall provide an estimated quantity of 3,308,810 pounds of Crushed/Cubed Ice and an estimated 2,046,165 pounds of Block Ice to the Troop Issue Subsistence Activity (TISA), Fort Bliss, Texas 79916. Contractor must currently appear on Directory of Sanitarily Approved Food establishments for Armed Forces Procurement. This procurement is 100% set aside for Small Business (SB) concerns. Standard Industrial Classification is 2097 with a size standard of 500 employees.
