Mummaugh, Contract Specialist (301)443-6677, E-MAIL:"pm69j@nih.gov' The National Institute on Drug Abuse is soliciting proposals from qualified organizations having the in-house capability to perform in vivo rodent behavioral pharmacology studies of potential pharmacotherapies for cocaine dependence using a cocaine self-administration reinstatement model. The Contractor will be blinded to the identity of proprietary test compounds, the compounds will be evaluated in established assays, and the resulting data will be utilized by the NIDA Medications Development Division. The successful offeror must indicate possession of current DEA registration for Schedule II-V substances prior to award and apply for Schedule I registration. NIDA anticipates awarding a cost-reimbursement, four-year contract with optional quantities.
