The Crane Naval Surface Warfare Center intends to enter into Basic Ordering Agreements (BOAs) with the following 12 vendors in order to procure, via individual orders issued under the BOAs, repair of a wide assortment of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) assets. Litton Systems, Inc., Williamsport, PA; Communications & Power Industries, Inc., Palo Alto, CA; United Defense LP Armament Systems Division, Minneapolis, MN; Raytheon Service Company, Norfolk, VA; Sperry Marine, Inc., Charlottsville, VA; Hughes Missile Systems Company, Tucson, AZ; Lockheed Martin Tactical Defense Systems, Huntsville, AL; Lockheed Martin Tactical Defense Systems, St. Paul, MN; Lockheed Martin Corp. Sanders, Nashua, NH; Lourdes Industries Inc, Hauppauge, NY; Northrop Grumman Corporation, Electronic Sensors and Systems Division, Baltimore, MD; and SAI Technology Div of Science Applications International Corporation, San Diego, CA. The majority of the assets to be repaired will be electronic equipment components. These repairs will be procured on a sole-source basis from the various vendors in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Only repair of those products for which the individual vendors have proprietary and/or unique qualifications will be included in the BOAs' scope. It is anticipated that the ordering periods of the individual BOAs will be five years. Periodic review and synopsis of the BOAs will be performed as required. Individual orders will specify repair of specific items and all applicable delivery terms and conditions. The BOAs will be executed on or about 10 June 1999. No formal solicitations will be issued.
