Project Consists of repairing two Brigade Support Areas(BSA), an optional item for repair of two additional Brigade Support Areas, and crushing additional rock materials. Repair of the BSA sites will include preparing the subgrade for applying 10" thick gravel surfacing on approximately 10 miles of 14' wide access roads and 42 one-quarter acre hardened pads located along the access roads. Construction of approximately 30 rock check dams and approximately a dozen culverts and fords will be installed as drainage features. In addition to the BSA Repair, additional rock materials consistinf of wearing course, gabion rock, and rock spalls will be crushed at the pits used during construction. Posted 04/12/99 (A-SN318371).
