AVAILABILITY: This Solicitation will be issued as an Electronic Bid Set
(EBS) on CD-ROM format only. EBS CD-ROM disks with plans and specs
available on or about * at no charge per set. No individual sheets are
available. EBS CD-ROM disks will be issued on a first come, first
served basis until supply is exhausted. No phone requests accepted.
Refer to IFB Number DACA6799-B-0034 when ordering. Requests MUST BE IN
WRITING and be received before bid documents will be mailed. Requests
may be FAXed to (206) 764-6817 or sent via eMail to plans-room-
cenws-ct@usace.army.mil, an additional confirmation copy of your
request need not be mailed. Please be sure to include if you are a
Prime, Sub or Plans Room. EBS CD-ROMS may be picked up from the Plans
Room Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 AM and 3:30 PM.
Submit requests by 01 May 1999. Estimated dollar value is in the range
of $1.000,000 to $5,000,000 and completion period is 240 CALENDAR
days. Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1629. Project is 100%
Set- Aside for Small Business concerns. For the purposes of this
procurement a concern is considered a small business if its average
annual receipts are $17 million or less. Visit the Corps of Engineers

opportunities. Project Consists of repairing two Brigade Support
Areas(BSA), an optional item for repair of two additional Brigade
Support Areas, and crushing additional rock materials. Repair of the
BSA sites will include preparing the subgrade for applying 10" thick
gravel surfacing on approximately 10 miles of 14' wide access roads and
42 one-quarter acre hardened pads located along the access roads.
Construction of approximately 30 rock check dams and approximately a
dozen culverts and fords will be installed as drainage features. In
addition to the BSA Repair, additional rock materials consistinf of
wearing course, gabion rock, and rock spalls will be crushed at the
