The contract limit is $40 million ($30 million for base period) and two additional option years and an additional $5 million per year. There will be no yearly contract limit, nor any limit on each Task Order up to the stated capacity. The Government may make award of up to three contracts to three responsible contractors whose offers conform to the solicitation and are the most advantageous to the Government. The contractors will share in the Task Order awards up to the total cumulative amount. This work will be defined by Task Orders. The work performed will be located at various sites within Alaska. The types of work involved includes: soil remediation (in-situ and ex-situ) by a variety of methods, asbestos abatement, investigations in support of soil remediation, laboratory testing, removal and disposal of RCRA, TSCA, and petroleum contaminated materials and wastes, debris removal and disposal, removal and installation of underground storage tanks, and preparation of technical reports and analyses. The contractor shall furnish personnel, equipment, tools, materials, plant supervision, and other items, personnel and services as may be required to accomplish the work. Responders are advised that this requirement may be delayed, cancelled, or revised at any time during the solicitation, selection, evaluation, negotiation, and/or final award process based on decisions related to DOD changes and disposition of the Army Services. The Government reserves the right to exercise the options anytime after award of the base contract. Of the three contracts to be awarded, two contracts will be awarded under full and open competition and one will be set aside for small business.
