The new construction will consist of reinforced concrete foundation on pre-stressed concrete piles, structural steel frame, steel decking with concrete topped floor slabs and incidental related work. This is a metric project. This is a firm fixed price contract. The estimated construction cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Contract duration is approximately 450 calendar days. The standard industrial cost is 1541 and the related small business standard is $17,000,000. This proposed acquisistion is unrestricted. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 11 May 1999. The project will be acquired through competitive negotiation and based upon technical and price competition. Award will be based upon best value to the Government. The proposal will include a price proposal and atechnical proposal which addressses three factors: Past Performance; Corporate and Key personnel Experience; and Commitment to Samll Business and Small Disadvantaged Business.
