The general intention of this contract is to provide and secure asbestos removal and non-asbestos material installation for interior and exterior work in various locations, complete and ready for use. The work includes, but is not limited to, all labor, supervision, transportation, material, and equipment necessary to provide all site preparation, monitoring, testing, removing and disposing of debris, and other work to facilitate the removal of asbestos material from interior and exterior materials, and incidental related work. Items so prepared and ready to receive insulation shall be finished with non-asbestos materials. This is an indefinite quantity contract with no firm fixed contract price. The price range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The solicitation package will be available on 27 April 1999. A site visit is not necessary and one will not be scheduled. Bids shall be submitted in written form. The bids are due at 2:00 on 27 May 1999. SPECIAL NOTE: The solicitation and amendments will only be available via electronic mail.
