The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate a modification to Contract No. N00019-97-C-0094 with Ultra Electronics of Cheltenham, England to procure approximately five High Pressure Pure Air Generators (HiPPAG) in order to determine if the HiPPAG is qualified for use on the LAU-127 missile launcher. The HiPPAG is designed to be used on LAU-7 missile launchers to provide a continuous supply of cooling air to the Sidewinder missile seeker head. Ultra Electronics owns the proprietary data rights to HiPPAG and is the sole designer, developer and sole manufacturer of the HiPPAG.
