FISC San Diego is announcing its intent to issue an unrestricted procurement, all eligible, responsible sources may submit an offer. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. A site visit is being done on April 20, at 10:00 am for all vendors who want to bid on this request. A written RFQ will be distributed at the site visit. The solicitation number is N00244-99-T-0416. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-11 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. The standard industrial code is 3585 and the business size standard is 750 employees. The agency need is for the removal of the existing air conditioning system and to buy five (5) each Environmaster International or equal high wall evaporators and five (5) each Carrier or equal rooftop AC equipment. The vendor supplying this equipment shall install the new air conditioning equipment for the Fleet Information Warfare Center in San Diego. This requirement is for a fixed priced contract.
