NASA/MSFC plans to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for SONO-TEK SYSTEM to include the following: ITEM 1: SONO-FLUX 9500S STANDALONE SYSTEM WITH ELECTRONICS MODULE AND DISPLAY -- UNIT WILL HAVE AN 8700-48MS MICROSPRAY ULTASONIC ATOMIZING NOZZLE (06-04143) DESIGN #Q048-2-36-463-030, CAPABLE OF ATOMIZING WATER AT 0.3GPH, LIQUID IN CONTACT WITH TITANIUM (TI-6AL-4V) AND STAINLESS STEEL (316) -- ELECTRONICS MODULE WILL NOT INCLUDE THE LIQUID DELIVERY COMPONENTS -- SYSTEM POWER REQUIREMENTS 110VAC 50/60HZ, QTY: 1 each; ITEM 2: CHAIN/TAB CONVEYOR WITH HAND CRANK (42 IN LENGTH) PART #06-05114, QTY: 1 each; ITEM 3: PROGRAMMABLE SYRINGE PUMP PART #12-05124, QTY: 1 each. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). NASA/MSFC intends to purchase the items from SONO-TEK CORP., 2012 RT 9W BLDG. 3, MILTON, NY 12547. This recommendation is made pursuant to FAR 13.106. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested firms have until April 22, 1999 to submit in writing to the identified point of contact, their qualifications/capabilities.
