requirement for an ANDO model AQ6317 optical spectrum analyzer with the
following specifications: minimum wavelength range of 600 to 1750nm,
wavelength accuracy of +/- 0.05 nm from 1510-1580nm, wavelength
linearity of +/- 0.01 nm from 1510-1580nm, minimum wavelength
resolution of 0.015nm, minimum dynamic range of 60dB (at peak +/-
0.2nm), 70 dB (at peak +/- 0.4nm), polarization dependence < +/- 0.1
dB, self wavelength calibration using a built-in wavelength standard,
weight of < 70 lbs, internal DOS compatible disk drive with text
data storage and TIFF style graphics storage, built-in printer, GPIB
interface, FC optical fiber input connector, built-in algorithms for
determining the amplified spontaneous emission, gain and noise figure
of fiber amplifier and the spectral analysis of DFB and Fabry-Perot
laser diodes, TTL level sweep trigger input and analog output, minimum
operating temperature range of 5 to 40 degrees C and color display.
