NASA/MSFC plans to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for High Sensitivity, High Speed Infrared Video Camera to include the following: (1) NSN=6720, Radiance HS Modular Infrared Camera. Camera has a 256 X 256 Pixel in 5B sensor, runs at a 120hz full field frame rate. Video output in NTSC, PAL, S-video or full 12 bit digital through RS232 part. F2.5 optics. Part number 503819-0.8, Quantity: 1 each. (2) NSN=6760, Radiance HS NWIR lens, 25mm focal length, F/2.3, SI:GE, bayonet mount. Part number 250-9014, Quantity: 1 each. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). NASA/MSFC intends to purchase the items from Advance Infrared Inc., 5466 Fripp Hollow, Acworth, Georgia 30101. This recommendation is made in accordance with FAR 13.106. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.
