This is a combined synopsis/solicitation in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and 13.105(b) of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F41691-99-Q0259. The solicitation document and incorporated clauses and provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-11. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate on an other than full and open competitive basis pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c), FAR 6.302-1 and AFFARS 5313.106-1 from the Contractor who currently holds a contract for maintenance and support of the existing video equipment.
