N00019-96-G-0178 POC Rosa Little, Phone (301)757-6869 The Naval Air
Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a firm fixed price order
under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-96-G-0178, with Lockheed Martin
Corporation, 12506 Lake Underhill Road, Orlando, FL 32825, to procure
approximately twenty (20) AGCS units. The contractor has built five (5)
pre-production AGCS units. The purpose of the proposed order is to
upgrade, ruggedized and tests four (4) of the existing pre-production
units. One (1) of the units has been ruggedized by Lockheed Martin to
meet fleet requirements. Delivery of the first pre-production
ruggedized unit shall be no later than sixty (60) calendar days after
receipt of contract award. The four (4) ruggedized units shall be
delivered at a rate of two (2) per month or as the "round-robin"
integration plan allows. Delivery of the initial fifteen (15) AGCS
production unit is contingent upon successful completion and government
acceptance of the five pre-production ruggedized units, the Contractor
shall manufacture, assemble, test and deliver the AGCS Ancillary
Equipment Set production units at the rate of two (2) per month. The
AGCS ancillary equipment set provides real-time control of gimbal
control systems as required in testing Electro-Optical (EO) and radar
weapon systems. The AGCS interfaces to the CASS station via the
Ethernet port. Lockheed Martin is the only known firm possessing the
knowledge, experience, expertise and data to fulfill the Navy'
