Contractor must supply all labor, materials, ground surfacing, removal of existing equipment and installation of all playground equipment. ALL PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT MUST MEET CONSUMER PRODUCT SAFETY COMISSION (CPSC), AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT (ADA), AMERICAN SOCIETY FOR TESTING OF MATERIALS (ASTM, F 1487-95) STANDARDS. THE FOLLOWING MUST BE ADHERED TO: All installation must comply with above safety standards. All posts, clamps, arches and caps must be made of aluminum alloy and warranted against structural failure for 100 years. All play panels must utilize permalene, which is compressed polyethylene rather than compressed plywood. All items must be finger friendly with no sharp edges, color molded in (so it will not scratch off) and easy to clean. Color must be UV stabilized to prevent fading from the sun. All fasteners are to be vandal resistant, patched with locking material, and made from stainless steel. Required Delivery Date: Delivery and installation must be complete so playgrounds are ready for use by 30 June 99. This is a commercial acquisition using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
