Gunter, Olivia.T.Gunter.1@gsfc.nasa.gov. NASA's Goddard Space Flight
Center (GSFC) Annual Science Forum for Small Business. NASA's GSFC
seeks to identify small businesses and Historically Black Colleges and
Universities (HBCUs) and Other Minority Institutions (OMIs) capable of
participating in NASA's most complex High-Tech work in designated areas
that directly support the programs and missions of the Center. The
Annual Science Forum serves as a platform for agency officials to
become aware of the presence of these firms and institutions in
critical technical areas. In addition, it serves as an opportunity for
prime contractors to consider these firms for subcontracting, teaming,
or mentoring opportunities. Essentially, the Forum creates a
"high-level marketing opportunity" for small firms. Targeted Areas:
Earth and Space Science Research and Applications: Sensor and
Instrument Technology; Commercial Remote Sensing; Space hardware;
Electrical, Mechanical and Systems Engineering; Lasers and LIDAR
Systems. How to Apply: All firms interested in participating in the
Forum should submit a brief statement of corporate capabilities that
specifically address the targeted areas. We will select three to four
companies to present. The cover page should include a summary of
capabilities for your company. Please make sure to also include contact
name, address, phone, fax, and e-mail address. The Forum will be held
on Thursday, May 27, 1999 at 1:30 p.m.. The deadline for submission of
the corporate capabilities is Wednesday, May 5, 1999. We will notify
the selected firms by Friday, May 14, 1999. Please forward one copy of
the capability statement to: Ms. Olivia Gunter, Assoc. Small Business
Specialist, Mail Code 213, NASA's GSFC, Greenbelt, MD 20771. By e-mail
