B -- ANALYSES, TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE, AND SUPPORT FOR CMHS = INFORMATION AND RELATED PROGRAMS SOL SAM-CMHS-99-8017 DUE 061499 POC Point of Contract -- Mary E. Woods, 301-443-0043 The Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS), SAMHSA, intends to = award multiple Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type = contracts for the requirement titled *Analyses, Technical Assistance, = and Support for CMHS Information and Related Programs.* Each contract = will include one base year and four option years. Task Orders will be = awarded under each IDIQ contract for a $5 million maximum for each = year. The minimum guaranteed award is $25,000 per year. SAMHSA is = soliciting proposals from organizations capable to perform one or more = of the following project domains: (1) pilot, analytical, and evaluation = projects; (2) statistical projects; (3) program related projects; (4) = consumer, family, and provider projects; (5) policy formation and = analysis projects; and (6) communications, awareness, education = projects. These domains are applicable to all of the program = operations of the Center for Mental Health Services. Offerors may = selectively propose for one or more of the six domains, which will be = evaluated separately. Successful offerors must demonstrate (1) an = understanding of the project, including major policy/program issues = facing CMHS and its components; (2) a management and staff plan that = demonstrates the availability of staff with the range of = skills/experience required; (3) corporate qualifications and experience = in managing projects of similar size, scope, and content; and (4) = appropriate corporate equipment, facilities and resources. The estimated date for issuance of RFP No. SAM-CMHS-99-8017 is April = 29, 1999, and proposals are due to be received in the Contracts Office = 45 calendar days thereafter. This solicitation may be obtained in = either of two ways; by mail or by electronically downloading the file = from the SAMHSA Web Site at http://www.samhsa.gov. Files will not be = made available on the web site until on or after the estimated issuance = date. Requests received = after this period will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis = until the supply is exhausted; however, there is no assurance that = copies requested after the twentieth day will reach the requestor in = sufficient time to permit an adequately prepared response.
