a requirement for analysis of organism's ribosomal source-tracking
technique to be used to identify sources of fecal contamination in
selected streams on Virginia's TMDL priority list. The USGS anticipates
awarding a purchase order to the University of Washington in Seattle,
who has the knowledge of the ribosomal source-tracking technique and
has developed a large database of ribosomal RNA gel electrophoresis
patterns of a wide variety of organisms. This announcement is for
informational purposes only. Vendors who has the knowledge of the
ribosomal source-tracking technique and database of ribosomal RNA gel
electrophoresis patterns are invited to provide an affirmative response
to this notice by faxing a request for the statement of work. An
affirmative response must include, but not limited to offered products,
price, lists, warranties, and any additional information indicating
bona fide ability to meet this requirement. All responses must be
recieved in this office within 10 calendars days from the date this
publication first appears. All responses must be in writing, no
