Center for Education Statistics(NCES), PostSecondary Studies
Division(PSD) has a requirement for the collection, reporting,
dissemination, and examination of post-secondary and adult education
data. In general the tasks include: (1) statistical analyses using
post-secondary and other education and related databases, (2) analytic
support for NCES staff for both one-time and recurring reports, (3)
establishing the capability to respond rapidly to requests for
information on post-secondary education, (4) disseminating data and
reports, (5) conducting methodological studies to assess the quality of
PSD's education and other survey data, (6) determining the feasibility
and appropriateness of potential data collection strategies, and (7)
training post-secondary institutional personnel in responding to NCES
requests for data and in using post-secondary education and other NCES
databases. RFP ED-99-R-0009 will be issued on or about 04/22/99. The
closing date is 05/25/99. Requests for copies of the RFP may be made by
telephone, mail, E-mail, telegram or in person. All requests shall
reference RFP ED-99-R-0009 and the title of the RFP. The Request for
Proposals can also be found on the Internet on or about the RFP issue
