C -- C-ARCHITECT/ENGINEERING SERVICES SOL NMA401-99-R-0009 DUE 051399 POC Mr. Michael Levy, Contract Specialist, (301)227-5130 A/E INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONTRACT FOR DESIGN SERVICES. Indefinite Quantity Contract for Architectural/Civil Design services are required for the preparation of design and construction documents (i.e. site investigations, plans specifications, cost estimates, reports, studies, design criteria and post construction award services) for the National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA), eastern region sites, Washington, D.C. area. The contract shall comprise the full range of multi-disciplinary services for building design with the Architectural and Civil disciplines being the lead designers. The A/E selection criteria shall be as follows: (a) Specialized experience of the firm in Architectural/Civil Studies and design; (b) Professional capability of the firm to accomplish the contemplated work within the required time limits; (c) Professional qualifications of the staff to be assigned to projects under this contract; (d) Past experience, if any, of the firm with respect to top performance on Department of Defense (DOD)contracts; (e) Past experience, if any, of the firm with respect to top performance on other federal government contracts; (f) Volume of work previously awarded to the firm by DOD; (g) Capability to accomplish multiple delivery orders concurrently in the required time; (h) Capability to survey, identify, and propose remediation methods for asbestos, lead paint, PCB's and other "minor environmentally sensitive products" as part of the required task; (I) Computer capabilities including the use of the latest version of PC based AutoCAD software for Windows; (j) Location of firm within general proximity to Washington DC metropolitan area NIMA facilities. A/E personnel shall be U.S. citizens due to security access requirements at NIMA. A/E firms which meet the requirements described in this announcement are invited to submit a completed SF 254 and SF 255 to the office shown above. SF 254's must be submitted for prime, joint venture(s), and/or consultant(s). The contract shall comprise an initial one yearperiod with an option to extend for two additional years being executed at the discretion of the Government. The contract shall not exceed a total of $1,500,000.00 including option years. To be considered for selection, all interested parties shall respond to this announcement by May 13, 1999.
