D -- SUPPORT OF VA PILOT PROJECT OF TRANSITION PERSPECTIVE PATIENT COMPARATIVE DATABASE SOL DSS-3 POC Nancy Kennamer, 512-326-6242 The Department of Veteran Affairs intends to acquire from Eclipsys Corporation, technical support services and access to the Perspective Comparative Database to assist in conducting a pilot implementation of Transition Perspective using simplified acquistion procedures. Transition Perspective product provides a comparative data/benchmarking solution for measuring clinical, operational and financial performance down to the patient level detail/resources. This pilot implementation will be the first use of this comparative data benchmarking solution by Veterans Health Administration. All responses from responsible sources will be considered. Responses must include sufficient documentation to allow this office to evaluate the possibility of your firm to submit a valid proposal. The determination to open competition based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published.
