The Department of Defense Dependent Schools European Procurement Office intends to commercially procure Information Technology (IT) support services for both educational and administrative locations throughout Europe. Service sites (currently 128) are located in Iceland, The United Kingdom, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal (Azores), Turkey and Bahrain with English speaking users. The Request for Proposal will be issued on or about 5 May 99 with a due date of on or about 15 Jun 99. Formal Source Selection procedures will be used to determine the best value to the Government using Oral Presentations scheduled on or about the week of 28 Jun 99, to facilitate with the technical proposals and evaluation. The Oral Presentations will be conducted in Mainz-Kastel, Germany. The proposed contract will be a Firm Fixed Price per unit for routine maintenance with Labor Hours for other non-routine procedures. The proposed contract period will be for a base year, 1 Oct 99 through 30 Sep 00, and two (2) option years.
