the services of an information technology professional experienced in
database/client management and other areas of Information Technology.
BISNIS,in order to fulfill its mission towards the US Government and
the business community, is heavily dependent on the development of
technology to develop new contacts with US companies and to keep those
companies abreast of new developments. Due to the phenomenal growth in
demand for BISNIS services, BISNIS requires a dedicated IT professional
(Information Technology Manager) to address the changing technology
needs of its office. Period of Performance would be for a period of one
year starting from date of award. Contractor will be based in
Washington, DC. Applicants must meet the following Selection Criteria:
1) Contractor must have at least 2 years of background and
demonstrable experience in the following areas: a) Dealing with
information technology concerns and meeting business intelligence needs
of US companies and the US Government; b) Should have previous
experience working with or within the US Government in a way that
reflects positively on their ability to navigate the
procedures/policies which are specific to the US Government. The
specific areas of concern include but are not limited to: procurement
policies; relations with, and knowledge of, the structure of the US
Dept. of Commerce hierarchy, as it pertains to information technology
management, the legal constraints and proprietary-based constraints as
pertains to international trade specialists working in a US Government
working environment; 2) Contractor should have demonstrable experience
in dealing with information technology users in a timely,
results-oriented fashion. Those users should be able to attest to the
fact that the contractor worked quickly, was technically proficient and
replied with high degree of customer service; 3) Contractor must have
working knowledge of: Microsoft SQL Server; Visual Basic, Cold Fusion,
World Wide Web navigation tools, a wide variety of word processing
packages, Microsoft NT 4.0, HTML, Perl, C++, TCP/IP, PPP, SLIP,
IPX/SPX, UDP, Netbeui, SMTP, NNTP, X.400, 10 Base T; 4) Contractor must
have a track record of developing, independent of any direct
technology-related supervisors, solutions and responses to customer
needs. This will be a "Best Value" Firm Fixed Price Award. Qualified
